RHETT SALMON & KRISTIE SIMMONDS

Rhett and Kristie have been dancing together since February 2010 and are now competing as one of Australia's top competitive Dancesport partnerships. Their first competition in Australia will be the National Capital Dancesport Championships in Canberra in June. They will then travel to China in July to represent Australia at the Shenzhen Star Championships and also the USA in August to compete at the Embassy Championships in Los Angeles.   Kristie and Rhett placed 5th at the Canberra championships last week end, a wonderful achievement at their first competition as a couple!!! From Kristie Rhett and I have just arrived back in Aus today after a very successful trip in China!! We danced really well and placed 6th in Shenzhen Asia Pacific event on the friday night! Then on the sunday made it to the semi final  of the 2010 Open to the world Open Amature Championships, placing eighth.  We were both so so happy with our performance and the results reflected the dancing which was a bonus.    Up comming events for us are: NSW Open :22nd of August South Pacific Dancesport Championships: 2nd- 3rd October International Dancesport Champsionships (England) : 20th- 21st September News from Kristie 24/8/10 At NSW Open we came second!!  We were very happy with how we danced and alot fo people said we'd improved since canberra already, which is very positive What a wonderful achievement Krisite, Well done to you both!!!!! kathleenxx
